The “Your Guardians of Freedom” pins program was created by the United States Air Force in 2002 as a way for Airmen to recognize the essential support provided by family members and employers. Air Force spouses and families across the nation are vital to the defense of democracy, forming the foundation of public support for our nation’s Airmen.
Your Guardians of Freedom pins may be worn only by parents and spouses of Airmen and veterans of the United States Air Force. They may be ordered only by parents, spouses, or veterans, or by current Airmen to present to parents, spouses, or veterans.
